Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

My fear of heights is unreal…it was the conquering my fears part for myself that made this experience so amazing. The instructors and leaders Lilly and Mary were absolutely wonderful and made me feel really safe and comfortable the whole time. Such a great experience

Everyone had a blast, overall it was a great experience. However I have it 4 of 5 stars because I would not recommend this for anyone over 200 lbs. I am right at the recomended weight limit of 250 and I was too heavy for them to slow down and help on the landing. On the two bigger faster lines I crashed into the landing, on 7 I hit so hard both my shoes went flying off way up in the air. Fun for smaller people but be prepared to scrape and smash your lower half if you are close to the 250 weight.

My 9 year old says "126 stars! It was a pure delight!" Lily and Cameron were great. The zips were exillerating. Totally worth the money and time.
