Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

We went for the zip-line adventure (which was AWESOME) and stayed for lunch at the restaurant. Everything was very clean and well maintained. This is a nice alternative to Nashville, TN activities.

This adventure was so much fun. Ziplining without the fear. An old college friend from Vermont was visiting her daughter in Kentucky & called me & we decided to do something fun. I have always wanted to zipline but being 58 years old, I wondered if I could do it. My friend was even more nervous, but she loved it. Well, with the verbal directions and fantastic attitude of the guide, this adventure was just too much fun. Non-stop laughter & we made new friends in addition to having a great time. I did not see any children doing this activity but many adults of various ages were participating. I recommend this for people who want to zipline in a less aggressive manner!

We had a great trip ziplining in Nashville. The guides were awesome and the lines were really fun. This is a must try while in Nashville. A lot of fun
