Forêt de tyroliennes à Nashville North

Aperçu
Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

We stayed at the Inn at Fontanel after the CMA Awards show and were so excited to learn there was zip lining right at the resort! Well, actually - my husband was excited, and I was a little apprehensive being scared of heights! The girls at the store booked our adventure for the next day, and we met our Guides and they took us up about 1 mile to the zip area with lots of great info about the sport and the area. We felt safe and secure in our gear and they gave us lots of useful information - and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. It must be noted that there is some hiking required to get to the zip platforms....we are in our 40s and in decent shape, and were still huffing and puffing up the trails - not for the faint at heart. There were 8 total zip lines, and once I got the nerve to do the first one (after watching my Hubby go first)....i was hooked! Each zip got a little higher or faster (or both) and they were a blast! Our guides took photos of us and video as well - and we got to ride together on our final zip! Now we are HOOKED and can't wait to go again....this is a MUST DO for folks of all ages...it's so much fun, the Guides are great and the property is just beautiful...especially in the Fall :) Oh, and the price is AWESOME for all the adventure it provides!

My husband and I decided we needed a little adventure while visiting Nashville - and this was definitely a great way to do that! We called to make reservations in the morning and were able to easily reserve a same day spot. Check in was quick and easy. One of our guides, Edward, met us and drove us up to the zipline area where we met our other guide, Keith. They were FANTASTIC! Funny, helpful, and all around great guys! We felt totally safe the entire time and the ziplines were so much fun! You start out with a "bunny hill" line, which gets you comfortable with the rest of the experience. It was not scary at all - definitely a rush! Make sure to wear closed toed shoes (tennies or hiking boots are probably the best) and clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty - especially if it has rained. You will be walking up some hills to get to the lines, so flip flops just won't do! Great experience, great guides, tons of fun. Highly recommend you stop by while in Nashville!
