I had an assignment to take Photos of Beaufort that would be in a flyer showing the historical land marks of Beaufort. The horse and Carriage Ride was perfect since I am not able to walk the route.

Our guide gave a lot of information that was very good and very unique to the people who lived in the area. The history of the town was very factual and informative. The carriage ride was very nice and safe the way the horse traveled through the city streets was amazing. This was a very good experience.

Tyler, our tour guide, was lively and engaging. It's just so enjoyable to travel around an historic town in a horse carriage. I would take the carriage tour as soon as you arrive (call ahead to reserve). The tour will give you a sense of where the most historic and interesting homes are, then you can return on your own time to walk around and take pictures at leisure, as we did later.
