This is a relaxed cruise on St Laurence. No stop. Light music. There is a bar. Bathroom on board. The 2 hour cruise can be a little boring but it’s a been there done that experience, at sunset time in the thousand lakes. Bring a jacket. In early July still a little chilly toward the end of the cruise.

Took the grandkids for this wonderful experience! Captain even extended it as he wasn't going back until the sunset, which he promised we would see! There were no castles to see per say but such a calming and beautiful ride seeing the islands an homes. My youngest granddaughter, who is 5, was thrilled to have been asked to help the captain and she steered the boat! The photographer on board is even sending a free photo of her as a memory! Not much narrative but lots of music and some guests even sang. Little one was moving her booty and clapping. Real fun for all. No food on board (unless you bring your own but a bar and bathroom are. Thanks for a great evening gentlemen.

If you want a full, narrated tour, the Sunset Cruise is not for you. (There are other tours at Clayton Boat Tours that provide that.) If you want a delightful boat ride on the great St. Lawrence, this Sunset Cruise is fantastic. It was very casual and Captain, CT and the other gentleman, Erik, shared interesting details throughout the cruise and were so friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the whole casual vibe with the music, soft breezes, and beautiful views. The Captain even delivered a beautiful sunset! Of all of the cruises I’ve taken, this was my favorite. Thank you, Captain CT, Erik, and Clayton Boat Tours! I’ll take this one again!
