Our Hawaiian Adventures crew is passionate about whales, and we pride ourselves on being the whale experts of the Big Island. The ocean provides new opportunities on every tour, so trust the guides who do this every day! Our crew works hard to show you the most wildlife on every trip, and we aim to leave you with a new appreciation for Kona’s whales, wildlife, and vibrant ecosystem. I never expected to see whales in July in Hawaii, but Hawaiian Adventures found them. Both Beak whales & Pilot whales were discovered on our trip. A pod of playful dolphins added to the great experience. The boat was brand new & immaculate, and the staff was fantastic. The friendly crew made our trip wonderful and the day perfect. All 4 of us in our group highly recommend Hawaiian Adventures!!

As a resident of Hawai’i and former boat tour marketer here and so been on many boats and hear all the gossip out of the harbor … this boat & tour are hands down the BEST that I have ever experienced in West Hawai’i for so many reasons. First, it’s the only one that provides Whale Watching with our resident whales. The boat is a luxury-working one, with no thoughtful details$ spared. Captain Andrew & crew are STELLAR, extremely knowledgable not just about all Cetaceans, but what is happening here environmentally as well as culturally & historically in Pono. In general, the vib of this experience is very high because the crew is so happy doing what they do … and is a family owned & run business from Anacortes … whom have always loved offering ocean tours there and now here. It is so obvious that their passion & expertise is like no other I know of here. So this tour is extremely relaxed & fun … no matter your interest … whether resident whales or sea birds … or about the island … or if you just really just need to get way the heck far out to sea SAFELY on a very comfortable boat … I highly recommend this tour … and any tour they offer … that are very diverse.

Spectacular! Truly a must do when visiting Big Island. We were lucky to join in the maiden voyage of the new boat, Artemis. Clean, safe, comfort. The crew made us feel like one of the family - so knowledgeable! And yes - we saw dolphins and whales! Fantastic boat adventure even on the days marine life may be more illusive. Will definitely go again, and bring my mainland friends when visiting.
