Best way to experience floating in the lake! The pontoon boat provides some much needed shade and we only encountered bugs when leaving the marina. Stopped a few times to float and at a small beach type area. Captain Jeff was super friendly and captured a few great photos for us and provided water. There are showers at the marina and a visitors center with restrooms, a small gift shop, and some educational displays. Highly highly recommend, I think it was the best way to experience the lake!

We did a private charter on The Great salt lake. After an amazing 10 day tour of park city and some national parks, this was the perfect end to our trip. Jeff was our guide and was friendly a d funny. Don’t be scared off by a sulfur smell. It was mild at the onset and by the time we were on the lake we couldn’t smell anything. The lake is so high in salinity, you can’t sink. We loved the swim and the views of the mountains. I highly recommend!

My husband and I joined our guide Jeff along with 5 other guests for the 2 hour tour. Jeff had great knowledge and asked trivia questions. We went out to the middle of the lake. We then went swimming...well floating ! We enjoyed the cool water as it was a scorcher. We then boated to a sand bar and again got in the water. We arrived back at the dock on time . Jeff has buckets of fresh water on board to rinse the salt off. He also had ice cold water available It was a unique experience. Thanks Jeff for the pictures you took and sent to us!
