My son and I went in this tour as part of our father-son trip to Miami. The title of this tour is a bit misleading. The 3-4 hours includes the pickup and travel time from Miami to the site. The to and from trip via van, which was very nice and comfortable, was about 90 minutes.
The actual airboat tour of the Everglades was about 20-30 minutes. This was enjoyable for the time, but it was very short. We saw 3 alligators in total. (That was a letdown, but one can't control whether the alligators are going to make an appearance or not.)
There was a 30 minute educational talk and demonstration given by a man who talked about alligators, scorpions, toads and other creatures in the Everglades, and there were a number of penned alligators to excite everyone.
There was a lot of focus on the tips and the gift shop throughout the tour.
My son thought it was the best part of the trip to Miami, so that made it worth it to some extent, but I was disappointed with the actual airboat tour itself.

Hello,
I’m sorry you misunderstood the length of the tour.
I’m sorry you didn’t read the details of the activity. It is very well noted.
We used to put the total time at the park as a duration, and it was creating issues because many clients thought it was the total activity. After we decided to put the total round trip, specifying in the details what’s about. Either ways it might lead to confusion, if the details are ignored. We are in good faith, because it is all very well explained.
The airboat was actually 40 minutes. It might have looked shorter , but it was 40 minutes.
You can agree that during the transportation to the park it was absolutely not mentioned anything about tips and gift shop. Even though it is common for the driver to mention about tips, I can assure no word was expressed about that.
This is a tourist attraction, and like all tour attractions there is always tips and gift shops involved.
