The props: The park staff were friendly and the boat tour guide was sassy and knowledgeable as you’d expect. The tour operator Fabio was very helpful & responsive over text. You definitely get the experience of being in the Everglades. This tour probably makes sense if you are getting the pick-up/drop-off service from your Miami hotel. Then it is indeed a 3-4 hr door-to-door tour.
The cons: For us however, since we were getting to the gator park from Weston, we ended up spending $50 on Ubers (each way) on top of the tour fee. The actual boat tour (a lot of fun!) was only about 25-30 mins. Given that it was mid-December, we only saw one small gator in the wild. The animal show-and-tell afterwards was fun, but all in all it came to about 40 mins to get there, only 45-60 mins at the park itself and then 40 mins to get back.
To be honest, despite the good service and friendly staff, I left feeling underwhelmed.

Thank you for taking this tour and for the positive feed back.
This tour includes transportation to the park. We pick up people from certain locations specified in the informations, and many times from other areas as well. We don't pick up in other counties though. You were staying in Broward county.
During our communication you expressed your wish to drive directly to the park.
About the length of the Airboat, normally it is 40 minutes. It might happen that during very busy times they shorten it to 30 minutes, to allow everybody to take it. You took it during the busiest time of the year. That's the reason why it was 30 minutes.
After the boat there is an Alligator show.
Everything is detailed in the information before booking the tour. Total time spent at the park is 1 1/2 - 2 hours including waiting time, looking around the park and gift shop.
In the rare occasion you happen to have the airboat right at your arrival and right after the show, and if you don't wish to spend any more time around, yes, you could spend there 1 hour or so.
