Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance (time permitted and seasonal option) to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. There’s no better way as a foreigner to understand its people and it cultures, than to take a tour of this canyon , it’s more than just rock and amazing views. Diné guides like Benjamin bring to life centuries of history in a few short words . His knowledge and the love for his people which he was able to share with us although only three hours ( which is to short) was amazing. It changed the way we looked at this amazing country forever .

We spent 10 days in Arizona, and our tour with Leander through the beautiful Canyon de Chelly was the absolute highlight! This is Leander’s company, and his pride in his business and history is evident. He shared so much about his culture and the history of his people. He was open to all our questions and shared interesting, honest stories, giving us insights into a people who deserve to be much better understood. We learned so much and were in awe of the beauty of the canyon and culture. There’s nothing like seeing it from the canyon floor. We highly recommend Beauty Way Jeep tours. It was a memorable experience. I have not stopped thinking about it. Thank you Leander!
