We hired the Princeton Tour Company for a private walking tour of Princeton to entertain wedding guests staying at the Nassau Inn. Each of them spoke about it being one of the highlights of the weekend. They thoroughly enjoyed tour guide, Jennifer. According to our guests she was fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They couldn't stop talking about how much they learned. This should be the #1 attraction in Princeton. If possible, take one of their tours.

I am a high school teacher and I wanted a high-energy, broad-reaching, basic introduction to Princeton University, the Theological Seminary, the Institute for Advanced Study (Einstein), and the founding families of this remarkable town. We learned about social inequalities as well as social justice movements. I had 31 10th and 11th graders, and they responded really well to our guide's (Jennifer) casual and humorous style. She reads an audience really well, and speaks just the right amount - with lots of interesting details interwoven into her narrative of Princeton's past. Whether you are an alum in town for reunion, a prospective family visiting with your high schooler, or just a tourist passing through, I highly recommend you take the time to learn the many stories of this beautiful little "stage coach stop" halfway between Philadelphia and New York!

Our son is considering applying to Princeton in the fall of 2021 and we were unclear if the university would be a good fit for him so we decided to drop by and take a walk around the university, learn about its history and take in some local food. We listened to the audio tour in the car on the way down which turned out to be perfect and we all really enjoyed it. It gave us a completely different perspective of the university (which was a good thing if it was going to make our top 10 list). As we stepped onto the beautiful campus and walked around we thought that yes, it just might be a great place for our son. He was fairly skeptical at first but I think the tour gave him a much broader perspective on how the university had evolved and a much better view into where it was going and the legacy it was aiming to impart to the world. We stepped away from the entire experience convinced that we would take a similar approach for other campus visits. We wish Mimi would do this for every major college campus that we can't officially visit. Her passion for Princeton makes her the perfect ambassador for the town and the university.
