Dole Plantation
This is almost a must see especially if you don't know how pineapples grow. There is a large gift shop full of pineapple themed gifts. The highlight is the famous Dole Whip ice cream. There is also a train that goes around the plantation and the World's Largest Maze. We can spend as long or short as you want. My record length of time spent here is 3 hours but 30 to 60 minutes is an average time here to look around and get some ice cream.
2
Iolani Palace
The Palace is the only Palace in America because Hawaii at one time had a King and Queen. the Iolani Palace was used in the original Hawaii 5-0 series and Jack Lord would stand on the front porch making viewers think that was the 5-0 headquarters. We can drive by or stop for photos.
3
Waimea Bay
Waimea Bay is very popular both with locals and visitors as it is very scenic and you never know from one day to the next what the waves will be doing. At calm times swimmers are allowed to jump off the 25 foot rock or swim laps across the bay. Rough times you will see boogie boarders catching waves or see surfers sharpening their skills on waves that have gotten to 50 feet.
4
Sunset Beach Park
This is the second Beach used for the Van's Triple Crown of surfing contest. It can be seen just driving by which I often do but we can stop if you want.
5
Waimea Valley
If you've ever wanted to walk through a Botanical Garden on a paved path and swim at the base of a 40 foot waterfall with water flowing down your head, THIS is the place to do it! Life jacks are provided. There is an admission fee and also a shuttle (For a fee.) if you don't want to walk.

7
Ehukai Beach Park
The name here is deceiving as THIS is where the famous Bonzai Pipeline with barrel rolls is at. Depending on the day you may see swimmers body surfing with boogie borders and surfers all at the same time or if the waves are big (Mostly during winter months.) you could see monster waves and surfers getting tubed.
8
Laie Point State Wayside Park
This location was used in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall where she jumped into the water. This is a beautiful rocky point with a long rock in the ocean that has a unique hole in the middle. A perfect photo op and favorite off the beaten path for many.
9
Green World Coffee Farms
A must stop for coffee drinkers and indulge in a free sample of the many blends of coffee offered here. See the coffee plant and taste the red cherries before they go into the roaster. Wonder what they taste like? There is a small gift shop with fresh roasted coffee and coffee themed gifts as well as chocolate covered coffee.
10
Haleiwa Alii Beach Park
Alii Beach Park is the first stop of the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing contest but it is just as popular yet not as regularly visited for the green sea turtles that bask in the sun on the beach or swim around eating algae off the reefs. Some have even snorkeled with turtles here!
11
Haleiwa Town Center

Hawaii Convertible Tours.
55
57
Green World

Shop till you drop! Also the home of the oldest surf shop in Hawaii. A historical town where all the buildings look like they were built in the 1920's. Also home of Shave Ice and Big Wave Garlic Shrimp truck rated in the top 25 of the Food Network.

If you like rum, this is a must stop. For $10 you sample 4 blends of rum made from sugar cane juice, try some tasty run bread and rum flavored honey. AND, your $10 tasting fee goes towards a bottle of rum. This stop become a favorite by many.

100
Sunset Beach Park
This is the second Beach used for the Van's Triple Crown of surfing contest. It can be seen just driving by which I often do but we can stop if you want.
101
Waimea Valley
If you've ever wanted to walk through a Botanical Garden on a paved path and swim at the base of a 40 foot waterfall with water flowing down your head, THIS is the place to do it! Life jacks are provided. There is an admission fee and also a shuttle (For a fee.) if you don't want to walk.
102
Shark's Cove
Don't let the name of this place scare you. If you ever wanted to snorkel in a protected, shallow aquarium and see all kinds of fish, THIS is the place to do it! Snorkel gear is provided at no extra cost by Hawaii Convertible Tours.
103
Ehukai Beach Park
The name here is deceiving as THIS is where the famous Bonzai Pipeline with barrel rolls is at. Depending on the day you may see swimmers body surfing with boogie borders and surfers all at the same time or if the waves are big (Mostly during winter months.) you could see monster waves and surfers getting tubed.
104
Laie Point State Wayside Park
This location was used in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall where she jumped into the water. This is a beautiful rocky point with a long rock in the ocean that has a unique hole in the middle. A perfect photo op and favorite off the beaten path for many.
105
Green World Coffee Farms
A must stop for coffee drinkers and indulge in a free sample of the many blends of coffee offered here. See the coffee plant and taste the red cherries before they go into the roaster. Wonder what they taste like? There is a small gift shop with fresh roasted coffee and coffee themed gifts as well as chocolate covered coffee.
106
Haleiwa Alii Beach Park
Alii Beach Park is the first stop of the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing contest but it is just as popular yet not as regularly visited for the green sea turtles that bask in the sun on the beach or swim around eating algae off the reefs. Some have even snorkeled with turtles here!

The views of the south shore were incredible. We got great pictures and had a great lunch in the north shore. But then the driver got political. My son and I are Black adults and he literally played the song "Dixie" in the car and announced when we were by the hospital where Obama "said" he was born. It went downhill from there as he talked about what Trump said about Obama's birthplace because only one of his parents was a citizen. I'm a lawyer and a judge. I know that neither of your parents have to be a citizen if you're born in the United States. To which he responded that was why he had to "say" he was born in Hawaii...otherwise, he couldn't be president. He's already BEEN president. Why was that relevant to say? It was absolutely disgusting. Luckily, we were close to the hotel and I was getting out soon because I was LIVID! I'm usually a very generous tipper but $675 was already way too much to pay for being insulted and offended by racist political remarks.😡

I am sorry you were offended with my song selection. We had talked about Elvis being from Mississippi and you were from there and an Elvis fan and I thought you would enjoy hearing the Elvis Trilogy that he sang at the end of his concert in Hawaii. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful and didn't realize until then that the song was offensive to some. As for being political, I had pointed out the Obama Hawaiian Estate and when we went by the hospital, I said "This is the controversial hospital that Obama was born at" which I have said many times before and no one seemed to take offense as I was just pointing out a landmark. You pulled the conversation to be political when you asked "Why I thought Obama's birthplace was controversial" to which I replied "Probably because Trump made it an issue." Then the conversation went on about what is required to be a US citizen, and I was merely stating how I understood it. I'm sorry you were "livid" after what I thought was a great day of photo shoots and friendly conversation. I hope the photos will be fond memories for you and your son. However, I will take your comments to heart and hopefully be a wiser guide in the future.

Mark is a great knowledgeable driver with fun suggestions for stops. We would not have found on our own the stops he suggested. He was flexible, professional and friendly.highly recommend

I took this tour with my parents. We had done a circle island tour but wanted to spend more time on the North Shore. Mark didn't disappoint. His communication was top notch, from the first time I sent an enquiry through to taking the tour. When we set out Mark asked us what we wanted to see and made suggestions along the way. We loved seeing Pali lookout and the rum tasting was epic! Mark had interesting tidbits to share along the way and we learned a lot. I particularly enjoyed seeing the stairway to heaven accompanied by Led Zeppelin and the other great song choices along the way! Seeing a bit more of Oahu in a convertible was awesome and I can't lie, we felt pretty darn cool! Thank you for such a wonderful day Mark, it was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
