Guests will walk above the Park to see the original location of the Basin Park Spring that was used for healing during the 1880's. They will also see where the Spring is now in the basin of the Park.

Guests will walk up to the Flatiron Building and learn about the history of this iconic (and most photographed) location and the trick about it. Following that they walk up to where the first bank robbery using a vehicle was committed, stories about the three fires, and the history of the Prohibition Era in Downtown Eureka Springs. Venturing further down a secret set of steps that is also a platted street they learn about Carrie Nation who gave her last temperance speech before passing away in Kansas.

Our tour guide David was wonderful. Not only does he look like a young George Clooney, but his knowledge of the history of Downtown Eureka Springs was informative and entertaining. You can tell this guide really has a passion for what he's doing for the community. He had a larger audience than I think he's used to for the tour I was on, and he still gave the best presentation. He also talked to people before the tour about their time frame and was willing to accommodate a commentary and experience that would suit all the needs of the group involved. He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions anyone could throw at him. I think he would benefit from a microphone set so he isn't straining himself so much to give a good presentation to the people he is showing the town but that still didn't take away from the experience. It's wonderful that you have people that genuinely care about the history in town and it was great to learn about things to this service
