This was a great rafting trip. The water was only intermediate, so most of the big rapids were only class 4. It is not as exciting as some of the eastern rafting, but still a great trip. The scenery is amazing. Our guide was Zac O. and was tremendous. Knowledgeable about the region and the river. They provide a simple, but very good lunch. Little touches at the lunch are great. The equipment is first class. I recommend a wet suit if you cannot tolerate the 55 degree water temps with 65 degree air temps. We will do it again when the water flow is higher. We had 956 cf/ flow which is intermediate. I would love to do it above 1500 and see the difference, but wouldn't recommend it for beginners or weekend warriors. Love Arkansas river tours.
