As we head south, Kealakekua Bay’s waters offer some of the best visibility in the entire state and a wealth of tropical reefs to explore. We provide guidance, snorkel gear, flotation devices, and also have a high dive and two 15 foot water slides so that you can enjoy this fantastic site to its max for the afternoon!

There is more to a wonderful snorkeling adventure than jumping in the water. Fair winds does have an amazing moorage at Kealakekua, but getting thee and back to the dock has to be considered too. The Captain was informative about the sites were were passing, and he also looked for the smoothest water. No one wants a boat load of seasick people! Then thee was the actual boarding. We visited a day early to remember where the facility was. My Bride discovered we were not on the manifest for the next day. The staff hustled around, and got us on the trip that was leaving right then. I mean right then! The boat was already moving away from the dock! Thank you Fairwinds and company for moving mountains to accommodate us. We will be back.

We enjoyed riding the boat and tubing in the water. We decided not to do the snorkeling because it was our first experience doing it and didn't feel comfortable after hearing the instruction. The ocean guides were excellent and patient with us. We appreciate being able to get out on the ocean and see the manta ray!
