Great staff and boat ride. Saw dolphins and one of the crew even caught a mahi mahi. The snorkeling was in a calm bay that had multiple green sea turtles feeding in the coral. Drinks and appetizers included. All in all a perfect way to spend the afternoon in Maui!

This was an amazing trip! Check in at Whalers Village was so easy! Sebastian was so nice and helpful. Answered all our questions plus he validated our parking ticket! I liked the fact that the trip left at 12:00 pm. (I’m not an early morning riser) I was able to do other things in the morning and not be rushed. I think a lot of boats leave in the morning and come back early. By the time we got to the snorkel site we were the only boat in the bay. We had the entire area to ourselves! Captain James, Travis and Mitch were fantastic and so friendly! Explained everything to us about the trip and snorkel site plus a lot of other local knowledge about Maui. While on our way to the snorkel site (Honolua Bay) Travis and Mitch served us soft drinks and water (no alcohol until after snorkeling). The snorkel site was really great! We saw a lot of different fish and saw many turtles that came close to us. They had a crew member in the water on a surfboard to offer help to anyone that needed it and to just check that everyone was doing ok. This was really comforting to one of our friends who was not as comfortable in the water as the rest of us. They had flotation devices for him to also use. After snorkeling they opened up the bar. They had good drinks! Not the cheap stuff! They served La Marca Prosecco which is one of my favorites! The appetizers they served were the best I’ve seen on a boat. The grilled shrimp on a skewer were awesome! Plenty of food for everyone. I totally 💯% recommend this trip to people who want to go enjoy an amazing afternoon snorkeling trip with an exceptional crew! Can’t wait to try another trip on Sea Maui!

Wanna fun ride and drink/food? Fine. Wanna see a fish? turtle? The crew did not anchor at a good spot. Despite no sightings of anything, they didn’t move boat or help us find sea life. Never had such a wasteful and disappointing experience. I literally yelled up to crew from water “ where are the fish??” Nobody available to watch us or guide or help us find fish. I swam around 3 sides of boat and as far out as comfortable (Calling into question some safety aspects too) A few guests swam really far ( farther than other trips allow) Did they find anything? Who knows?? No interesting talk about reef, sea-life, what we should see, what we did or did not see. No education at all. It was all about drinks and then lunch. Perhaps a bigger or more motivated crew was needed. Really hated this trip. If you’re Interested in seeing fish, turtles, or hearing about Maui and interesting aspects about the island, water, reef, anything… this is NOT your trip.

Mahalo for the review. It sounds like you were on one of our trips that were affected by the large swell that we recently had, and we apologize for that. If you take a look at our reviews we have an amazing record of seeing turtles and fish - even though it is never a guaranteed sighting as it is wildlife.
