See the wilds of Alaska on a Side by Side ATV with a full windshield, roof, seat belts, gas pedal, and break. This fun and fantastic machine handles the rough terrain well - all near the Denali National Park boundary in the heart of Alaska. This is a great tour for couples, friends, and families. All ages are welcome with various start times each day and personal guides to cater to your needs. Photo opportunities abound on this 3 hour tour and a full service back country meal is provided. Please allow 3 1/2 hours if we are picking you up at your hotel.

Having experienced other ATV adventures, this was by far one of the worst excursions we've encountered. Staff was confused and not sure where to place us, tried helmets on, and then determined not enough helmets for side by sides, therefore; removed helmets, went to holding area for another 15 minutes, then decision made to relocate to another group....over 45 minutes passed before even seeing an ATV or side by side. Excursion itself was unremarkable except for one location where there was a large several hundred foot high sand/rock slide deposit. This was part of the remnants of a glacier. Otherwise, we drove around in circles over rough rocky terrain paths. Side by side we had was old, basically beat up rig that rattled and vibrated terribly, even during idling and the shock/struts were worn out and had seen better days. Our excursion did not include the meal. Actual drive time I would estimate to be less than 30 minutes. We made frequent stops along the trip, one at an abandoned cabin and others to look over vistas. Narration by guide was educational. No actual animal sightings, although we did see where moose had roughed up the bark of several trees to define territory. All this we had seen several times before on our bus tour into Denali. For the amateur who's never encountered an ATV excursion, this might sell, but for anyone else, this was just about as pathetic as it gets. Perhaps consider a different ATV excursion.

We had a large party that took on the ATV Side by Side adventure. It is nearly three hours in length and is a fun and safe adventure all the way! The equipment was very safe and our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and the best trails to go on. The meal was huge and excellent! Don’t miss this one!

My wife, son and I did a last minute excursion with Black Mountain during our princess cruise tour and had a blast. Dylon was our guide. A local Alaskan who was a very impressive young man, polite, professional, entertaining and very kind to our 11 year old son. He had an outstanding time as did we. Beautiful scenery and comfortable ride with education provided on wildlife, geology and plants. Lunch/dinner was provided at a cabin along the way with chicken, ribs, salmon, cole slaw, corn, some other stuff I can’t remember but the best dang potato salad I’ve had in a long time. Great fun, great customer service and honestly the best fun we have had on this trip.
