I had the pleasure of spending the day at Soaring Tree Top Adventures today. I've never been zip-lining before, so I didn't know what to expect. The day starts with a great train ride to the site situated in the middle of the San Juan National Forest. When we arrived, we got set up with our harnesses and a safety talk and it was clear this was going to be an amazing and safe first experience. The staff are excellent and really great to chat with, the zip-lining was even more fun than I expected, and the food was perfect. I will be back to do this again. Thank you to the crew for a day I will never forget!!!!

It was incredibly fun! We got super comfortable and enjoyed every moment. Staff was super friendly and we felt safe the whole time. Loved all the adventures throughout the course. Not to mention a delicious lunch! All the zip lines were exciting and awesome! Definitely will be going again in the future! A must do while in Durango! Amazing!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From getting on the train, to the safety and ecology lessons, to the lunch under the pines above the rushing river, in the middle of the national forest, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. And while It was expensive it was totally worth it - every staff member was excellent, remembering your name, taking care of you, even picking up your trash during lunch. And they do not accept tips so your cost is all in. I’ve done other guided trips where they talk tips a lot and not here. When we offered a tip they declined. All of the zips were beautiful and different - 37 in all, and they were great about keeping it moving.
