This was our first big family vacation since COVID and possibly our last since we were dropping off our oldest to start school in another state. After a week of fun adventures from California to Colorado, this was our final stop and big splurge! It was a fantastic day that the entire family loved (our youngest is 12). My parents took me on the train ride to Silverton when I was a kid and all my adult life I've been wanting to bring my kids to do the same. This experience upped the ante and made it something none of us will ever forget. Thank you for an amazing time!

This was a 60th Birthday surprise. And WHAT a surprise. I'm not a "heights" person but honestly - do NOT let that stop you as it didn't stop me. First, loved the train ride. We took it from Rockwood to Soaring and it was just the right amount of time and with all the BEST views. We sat in the outside carriages and glad we did so you can absorb the whole train experience. We were greeted by such a great group of smiling and friendly staff members. As the day went along, we got to know them more as we saw them quite frequently, as we "popped up" onto each tree stand as we zipped along. All the staff were exemplary, trained to a "T", and very patient, explaining everything well. I loved how the experience was mapped out - with the easier zip line coming first so that you could get a feel for it and learn to trust in the harness. Never felt unsafe at any point during the experience - in fact, I felt giddy at times from the adrenaline rush, and enjoyed every moment! The gourmet lunch was indeed that. Delicious, well prepared and thoughtfully presented. And really? Homemade ice-cream sandwich to include homemade choc chip cookie? Count me in! From start to finish, this truly was a once-in-a-lifetime memory and I am so thankful I have it!! THREE WORDS: GO DO IT!
