Whoa! My expectations were blown away. I didn't realize the beer culture was so vivacious in Minnesota, it's almost as good as Oregon! Driving around in style with the most cordial, sincere tour guide I've ever met - Special thanks to Eric for answering all my questions, providing beer from your own fridge in case we got stuck in traffic, or not, and being so accommodating in all aspects. I never would have found Hoodoo and Brimstone at Boom island if not for the tour. Cheers!

I attended the brewery tour with the fabulous driver, tour-guide, and beer expert Eric Golder. He led the tour with the utmost attention to detail, safety and customer happiness. Eric also had great relationships with the brewers, encouraging them to come to our table to tell stories of monks brewing beer, where the beer names come from, and how the flavors work. To top it off, I had a delicious Thai Shepard Pie from one of the food trucks (one parked at each brewery almost). I totally recommend this tour.

My wife and two friends were heading out to Minnesota to see our local Chicago baseball teams play the Twins. I wanted to do something fun the first night we arrived so I planned a private tour for the four of us on that Saturday night. My wife and friends did not know what I had planned until they got on the bus. Our tour guide was Terry H. and we all immediately hit it off. It was a pleasure getting to know him and he was very helpful and upbeat throughout the tour. We got the opportunity to sample beers from five different local Minnesota breweries during the course of the evening. At some point in the tour, Terry informed us we were the first group EVER to sign up for a 5-brewery tour - from that point on, we were on a mission! I am proud to say that our humble group of four from the suburbs of Chicago made it through the five breweries without a hitch and (along with our guide Terry) are proud to be the self-proclaimed Bitter Minnesota tour champions! We only wish Terry could have celebrated with us by having a beer, but that just means we'll have to come out again and have him join us on a tour! Anyway, throughout the process, from my initial questions to the payment to the tour itself, we found Bitter Minnesota to be a very professional and FUN organization. Thanks again to all the breweries we stopped at during the tour and to Bitter Minnesota as a whole. We recommend the tour to anyone who loves trying new beers and who is looking for a unique experience in Minnesota.
