Our first-time visit to the iconic Yellowstone National Park was made memorable by a great experience with Cody Adventures. We took their private (luxury) tour of the lower loop of the park and it was an amazing experience with the tour guide (Devon). Despite being less than three weeks on the job, Devon was highly professional and knowledgeable about the park's history and evolution - he patiently answered all of our questions and my six-year old child loved being around him! From the initial booking logistics to accommodating our special needs (we were traveling with a new-born), Cody Adventures made it a special one for us! I would highly recommend this tour to future fellow travelers.

This is a great tour if you are uncomfortable navigating Yellowstone on your own. If you’re a savvy traveler, I would skip this. Our guide was lovely, but we felt we could have used our early morning time more wisely driving ourselves to sites before the crowds, rather than spending it meeting our guide at Fishing Bridge. If you’re staying in the park and are able to get yourself to sites early in the morning when it’s less crowded, I would not recommend this tour. If you’re staying outside the park (in Cody, Wyoming) and are looking for transport into the park and a tour of the main highlights of the park, it might be a good fit for you. We did not feel the description of the tour was accurate - even after cutting out a stop that we had already seen on our own, we still had to skip other stops that were advertised as part of the tour. We just didn’t have time to see it all based on the driving schedule and parking / traffic in the park. All in all it was a pleasant day but not the best use of our time. If you’re planning to book this tour - I would recommend contacting the company in advance to make sure you’re aligned on stops that are a priority for you and pickup / drop off schedule. The lunch definitely lived up to the hype, especially with very limited eating options in Yellowstone!

Thank you for writing in with a review.With the nation wide staffing shortages it was a chaotic year.I did not like being off of our game.Typically we have about 35 guides and this year we had 12.We we’re stretched to breaking points over the year.Typically we give 5 star service.I apologize for not being able to give that.We did not know that we were going to have these issues this year and have limited our tours for next year planning for more staffing issues. Here’s to a better new year for 2022.Cheers!

This is a magnificent tour! I highly recommend it for families. This is a private tour and it is quite comprehensive. Lunch and water and drinks are included. Our tour guide Nikki was outstanding. She is a local and is so knowledgeable about the area and the park. Again, I highly recommend thia tour. I will book again whenever we come back. Thank you Nikki.
