I wanted to like this tour but there were some issues. First, I and two others were given the wrong pickup place. That worked out but all the companies appear to lump all the passengers together and figure out who goes where by number of seats. Greatly disorganized. Our driver was certainly nice enough and knowledgeable but was more often than not the cause of delay- we sat on the bus waiting for 15 min at least twice. While the scenery is lovely most the official stops are just tourist places to buy stuff. And while the advertisement said the trip was 8-9 hours starting at 8am, it was actually more like 10 hours starting at 8:30 (plus an hour for pickup) and since that was going to bring me back at 6:30 pm and later thank I wanted, I ended up spending an extra $50 to Uber back from the Dole plantation.

We do consolidate our pickups when it gets busy. This makes things much faster and simpler than doing several different pick ups. We want to get out of Waikiki & town and quickly and easily as possible. It can seem like there's a big group (especially at Ross) but at least it helps you know your in the right place! And yes, you are doing 120 miles in 1 day so it can some times take a little longer getting back to Waikiki depending on weather and other conditions.

Swimming with the turtles was amazing. Eating Dole pineapple ice cream was also great on this trip. Less time at hat Island would've suited me better.

We don't go to the China Man's hat usually and it's not on this tour's itinerary. I do notice some of my drivers may add a stop here or there to work with the groups wishes. Usually it's a little too much to add a significant stop unless the weather drastically changed the routine.
