Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
  • Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
  • Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff really makes this a great experience. If you're a senior or have mobility issues, it may ea challenge to sit on the deck for 9p minutes

We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon sail out through the sound with Vagabond. The crew were friendly, entertaining, and knowledgeable. Though the wind was a bit soft to move very quickly, we enjoyed the quiet cruise while watching for dolphin, manta ray, and jellyfish. I definitely recommend this and look forward to our next sailing experience.

Captain Ovens made this fun & unique Calibogie Sound sunset cruise EXCELLENT! He is very personable & interesting, adding lots of local knowledge to the beauty of the cruise on this historic vessel.
