We stopped by for some indoor activities to beat the heat. Indoor karting was a huge hit with our 11 year old boys! We had fun too. Good arcade, laser tag, 3D ride, and car simulator. Grabbed some lunch, and the Stromboli was the best!

My husband and I had a great time. We felt like kids again. The race cars were fun and I liked that it was fast. We did the laser tag and that was fun also. The only thing I didn't like was when we purchased a package online and received our game cards we could play unlimited video games but we could not receive tickets to trade in for prizes. You have to purchase video games credits individually to get prize tickets. Other than that cudos to Andretti.

I took my 9-year-old son to Andretti for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted to go-kart; who doesn't? Secondly, there were some high-tech VR game experiences that I wanted to let him play. On arrival, it was a struggle to find a place to park. The facility shares its parking with Top Golf and indoor skydiving, so the place was packed. Walking across the parking lot, in July, in Florida, was not fun. Getting to the door, we had to wait until someone else left so that capacity restrictions were met, but the staff handles all the door opening/closing duties so you don't have to touch the handles. Inside was what you would expect from a major arcade. To say it was dark and noisy would be an understatement, but my biggest surprise was how crowded it was. I'm not sure what the capacity guidelines were, but if there was room for another body, they would find someone to fill it. To the right were the bowling lanes, ahead was a restaurant/bar, and beyond that were the kart tracks. To the left was the ticket desk, and in between was the arcade itself. First of all, do everything you can online. This includes the waiver for everyone in the party, purchase any game/kart packages, anything. The line to get to the counter for your vouchers is nuts, but the staff does a fairly good job working through things and indicating which kiosk is available for the next party. We were disappointed since there were no dual karts where I could drive and my son ride, nor was there the ability we could race together. His age prohibited him from racing with me, and my age prohibited me from racing with him. We decided to only play games and VR. After going through the ticket line, we played what we could. For VR, the game we chose was not crowded, so it was only a matter of waiting until the game in progress was done. After that, it was waiting, and waiting, and waiting, until an arcade game was available. We didn't want to do the ropes course or laser tag due to the lines. We only stayed for an hour or so because of the inability to race together, but moreso because of the crowds. Even my gamer son expressed a disinterest in doing more VR due to the crowds. Not worth it in my opinion.
