This was our family's first experience with Whitewater Rafting, we decided to do the Royal Gorge since we have teenagers and wanted more of a challenge for them. What a great experience from the beginning to the very end!!! The staff in the building were helpful with helmets and lockers. I highly recommend purchasing the photo package, they take great pictures of your first rapid! The bus drive to and from the river was great, Tommy was hilarious! Our guide, Aaron, was perfect for our family! He gave us great instructions on what to do during our rafting experience! We did not tip our raft nor did anyone fall out...lol I would highly recommend Raft Masters for your whitewater rafting adventure!! We will be using them again the next time we are in Colorado Springs.

The initial process of getting checked in is a little tedious. After check in, the wait for your white water trip to begin gets a little monotonous. However, once the float trip begins, it's amazing! The water is cold, but feels amazing when you're splashed with it!We had Nicole as our guide and appreciated her fun, but responsible demeanor. One of our group fell out during a class IV rapid, Nicole stayed calm and kept instructing the rest of us to paddle and when we were clear, she pulled our friend back into the boat. I would definitely recommend raftmasters if you're considering a white water adventure!

While the water was low, the trip was great fun. Most impressed by the Raft Master operations. Efficient management of crowds, check in, equipment and transportation. Knowledgeable guide. Safety was clearly a high priority for the organization but it didn't diminish the fun of the ride.
