I brought my mom in from out of town (I've lived in Asheville) and wanted to show her around without just meandering around shops and such. This was a week ago and she still can't stop raving about it. Who knew a walking tour could be so great?! I took one in Chicago a while back and it was so-so. Kevan made this awesome. I loved his depth of knowledge of the history of Asheville. The audio devices were great! The distance and elevation of the tour were super-easy. Definitely not boring and so worth it! I recommend that anyone from out of town start with this tour first, spend the 1.5 hours, and let Kevan be your walking concierge, so to speak. Then, you'll feel like a local for the rest of your trip. Highly recommended.

My family and I have always loved to visit Asheville, but I never felt I knew much about the city beyond the "touristy" things. Kevan at Asheville By Foot changed that with an exceptional tour that showed me a side of Asheville that went beyond the main streets and deep into its fascinating history. You'll be glad you toured with Asheville By Foot when you come away with great restaurant recommendations, discoveries off the beaten path, and exciting historical information to share.

Great Tour. Walk the streets with a guide who knows everything about Asheville and tells you in an interesting format all of the history and interesting stories of this city. It's a tour everyone should take. I really liked the small headsets that are used so you don't miss a single word, no matter how big the group is. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
