The tour was super fun and the stories were fun to hear! Only detractor was the group size felt too large, but other than that we had a great time!

A group of friends and I were really excited to do this tour on a trip to Asheville on Halloween. There was 13 of us in our group. We were super shocked when we showed up and joined a crowd of what was probably about 65 - 75 people total for the tour. I was pretty disappointed about this before the tour even started. It was hard to hear the instructor, Tad, at times and the group moved at a snail’s pace due to the size. We decided to leave half way through the tour to find some food. We were bummed but felt it was a waste of time to continue. The Asheville history was cool but for the time allotted it felt like too much trouble. Please cap your group sizes!!

Tad was AMAZING! We are from out of town and total history nerds, we love the way he mixed the history and ghost stories as well as accounts of locals. 10/10 would definitely take anyone new to the area!
P.s. It’s also a great way to scope out food and shops to try!
