Dean's Aspen Walking Tours was such a great way to learn about the city. I highly recommend the experience and it is supporting the local economy and people.

Dean was very knowledgeable about the history of the valley and was able to answer questions, even the ones that were not directly a part of the tour. The tour is interactive, so some screaming helps make the tour more entertaining, but it is not absolutely necessary. The tour is not “scary” even though it is a ghost tour, so it would be fine for children that have an interest in history and ghost stories. It is an outdoor walking tour, but it was a leisurely stroll with several stops. Be prepared for cold weather, it’s 60 minutes outside at night, luckily it was pretty warm for our tour.
