Foodies wanted! Come enjoy diverse plates in Downtown Houston at some of the city's most famous restaurants. This tour will begin at the Historic Market Square Park (outside Niko Niko's) where you will learn about Houston's rich history, beautiful architecture, & diverse cultures.

The tour consists of 4 local favorite stops where you will try 8-9 delicious food samplings including authentic Mexico City cuisine, traditional Asian novelties, and Houston style Italian-American gourmet dessert. These meals are pre-ordered & will be coming out fresh for your group.

In addition, guests will enjoy views of the tallest building in Texas, largest theater district in Texas, & private limited access into largest downtown tunnel system in the USA as a third of our food tour is spent down below! Note, all restaurant stops are air-conditioned and sit down.

Even as local of Houston in our group, there was a lot to learn from this tour. We enjoyed great food on tour with guide and outsiders from other parts of USA. It was nice evening for us and a great memory if coming to visit city for first time like the friends I made

We’ve done dozens of food tours around the world, and by far Vanessa was one of the best- truly ahhhmazing! She has so much energy and knowledge which made the tour fun for everyone! The group was 16 or so- too big for a food tour causing the sittings to take too long, but Vanessa did a great job. I would rate the 3 restaurants as a bit above average with our favorite foods: the Mexican birria my favorite and the Asian chicken my son’s. I would also add the tunnels are closed from Friday @ 6:00pm until Monday morning, which was disappointing. Truly the best part was covering so much of Houston with Vanessa’s enthusiasm and anecdotal stories. For me, Vanessa (more than the food) was the star of the show!

Hello Bmizzle76, Thank you and your son for joining us on tour and for taking the time to leave your feedback. Our downtown food tour with tunnel access is the only tour in the city that has access to the tunnels after hours and on the weekends. We reviewed your tour date with your guide as well as the restaurant managers. Your tour ran smooth and on time. I am not sure why you mentioned that sitting took too long. Each restaurant has our group's tables reserved and ready for our arrival and plates follow shortly after. We appreciate your compliments regarding Miss. Vanessa. She is the highest rated tour guide in the city and she really loves her job. With that being said most tours ran be her are sold out and large groups (groups range between 12-18 guests and typically there is a waitlist for certain dates). Each restaurant and plate is chosen to show off Houston's diversity, hidden gems, and history. We've had great success with the current plates over the years and are sad to hear that you thought the food was above average.
