Barton Springs Bike Rentals & Tours

Customers arrive at Barton Springs Bike Rental & Tours 15 minutes prior to tour start time. They will then be fitted to a pedal assist electric bike, and go over the operations and safety. The tour begins by heading towards the Stevie Ray Vaughan memorial and Doug Salm Hill. Then head into south austin to check out the "Greetings from Austin" and the very popular " I love you so much" murals. The breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from the cities boardwalk will lead the tour into downtown. Here the customers will ride through the infamous 6th street to the state capitol. Halfway through the tour we do stop for coffee/ beer/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot. Then the tour will head north into University of Texas campus and and customers will be able to find out the chilling significance of the UT Tower. Here customers will get a feel for campus life as they head towards the iconic " Hi, How are you?" mural. The next stop will be a visit to the unique "Graffiti Wall" of Austin's art culture. The tour finishes with a visit to one of Austin's own Moontowers and Barton Springs Pool. All bikes are included in the price as well as a water during and after the tour. Helmets are required. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes for bike riding and your camera for all the great photo opportunities.

Then head into south Austin to check out the "Greetings from Austin" and the very popular " I love you so much" murals. The breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from South Congress will lead the tour into downtown. Here the customers will ride through the town heading towards the Congress Bridge, home of the bats, & state capitol. Halfway through the tour, we do stop for coffee/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot. All bikes are included in the price as well as water during and after the tour. Helmets are required. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes for bike riding and your camera for all the great photo opportunities.

This three hour electric bike tour was so fun! Gabriel took us through one of Austin's older, hip neighborhoods, then along the river trail, up into the Capitol grounds and through UT's campus. We saw lots of sights along the way but the highlights for me were several art installations along the route, and stopping to eat at one of Austin's iconic food trucks. I'm an older woman (62) but thanks to Gabriel's excellent instructions I found the e-bike to be easy to operate. I highly recommend this tour, my husband and I saw a lot of "can't miss" places in Austin.

We had Gabriel as our tour guide. He was a blast. He was friendly, helpful, flexible with our schedule and preferences, and fit right into our group. The bikes were great. The electric pedal assist feature made the ride easier and way more fun. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Our group of 4 had a terrific time.

My first time in Austin and only had one day - the electric bike tour was perfect, got to see the city highlights and enjoy this bike friendly town. Gabe was easy going and well versed on landmarks and history, a great guide. I Highly recommend this tour.
