It’s wild to realize that after living in Maryland for basically my whole life, I’ve somehow managed to learn so little about Baltimore — arguably the state’s most important city. That hit me on a random Saturday in December 2024, but you know who does know Baltimore inside and out? Ira, the owner of I Love Baltimore Personal Tours. The man knows his city, and it shows. Meanwhile, I’ve been casually dropping “random” Baltimore facts like I’m some kind of expert — fully knowing I stole them straight from Ira’s tour.
The tour itself? Super chill. We hit a bunch of neighborhoods (not all, though — definitely need a round two). As someone who loves real estate, seeing the different styles across Baltimore’s neighborhoods, from historic to modern, was a vibe all on its own.
5 out of 5 stars for I Love Baltimore Personal Tours. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to actually learn about Charm City. Honestly, I’d do it again with our same group — the whole experience was a vibe. Plus, they’ve got other tours I’m curious about.
The only downside? Not being able to grab a snowball from Ice Queen in Locust Point because they were closed. Can’t blame Ira for that, though. Still, good times all around!
