With our Bespoke E-Biking Private Tour, we'll escort you to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a guided exploration of Hale Ma'u Ma'u Crater, Nahoku "Thurstons" Lava Tube, and other captivating locations. We'll customize the ride to match your bucket list and ensure your safety while keeping you thoroughly enthralled by the mesmerizing scenery of the volcanic landscape. Note: Timeline is Tentive. Time will be determined by pick-up location and our specific destination choices. A round trip from Hilo to Volcano takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Onomea Bay

Here, you can enjoy a scenic E-bike ride along the Onomea Scenic Route "on Your Own". You'll embark on a leisurely journey at your own pace. We'll provide you with a handheld map, a texted Google map route, and verbal instructions on where to go, as well as suggestions for picturesque spots to stop and take photos. After your ride, we'll pick you up at Pepekeo "Low Store."

If you are looking for an uncrowded quiet private tour full of current and historical information - this is the tour for you too!! Everything about a tour with Keola who owns and operates Haw e-bike tours is a 10 out of 10! It is so much more relaxing and safer to ride an e-bike with someone who knows this area so well - and who kept checking in with options to see and crowded places we could go explore too, or if we wanted to avoid the crowds Keola has worked in Volcanos National Park for 30 years and lived on Kona his whole life and was full of knowledge to share about the birds, plants, Hawaiin traditions he loves! We had a rental car and so we had flexibility for where to start our day. He also offers to picnic you up if you if that makes the most sense. Our hotel was 2 hours away, so we drove and it was sooooo worth the drive! The weather around the volcano can be unpredictable and rainy and he assured me we could be flexible with where we started in order to do his best to show us views of the crater, steam coming up from the earth and a drive to the best waterfalls on Kona. Our day started with safety information, setting up the height and gearing of our e-bikes and testing them out in a quiet parking lot before transiting to him watching us do a short ride on the street . Next he led the way into the quiet, peaceful enchanted canopy trails of Hawaiin bliss. He offered to take photos of my friend and I at all the most beautiful and scenic spots! I have a severe allergic reaction to the protein in wheat and must only eat gluten free and Keola was accommodating to bring snacks that were safe for me to eat. HE EVEN BROUGHT US FRESH BANANAS AND TANGELOS FROM HIS TREES!! THE TANGELO WAS THE JUICIEST MOST DELICIOUS FRUIT I HAVE EVER HAD!! What a gift!! I asked if we could stop in Hilo at the Boocha Bar for fish tacos, which is highly rated as a safe place to eat using the App “Find Me Gluten Free.” If you or someone you job has Celiac Disease I highly recommend it (and to pay for the full version to support the people who created it and to enjoy all the features) We did this tour on the last day of our stay and it was wonderful to have freedom and flexibility and Keola’s knowledge and experience every step of the way!
