This tour was the best tour me and my wife have experienced. Our guide, Wes, was very chill and knowledgeable and gave an interesting background on the history of the islands. Our driver and photographer, Mr. Aoki, got us to the summit and back safely and took some fantastic pictures. They also provided clothes for the cold, tasty veggie sandwiches, and hot chocolate during the stargazing portion. Both the sunset and view of the stars was absolutely worth the price. 10/10 recommend!

Stephan was an excellent tour guide. He picked us up in time in a very comfortable van. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. His knowledge about the city, volcano, and people is remarkable. He took us to the visitor center first to get us acclimated to the altitude. Then he took us to the summit of Maunea Kea. We felt well adjusted. He provided us with the parka when it got cold after sunset. He took pictures of us and was very helpful. They gave us an excellent vegetarian sandwich. Then he took us to a lookout for the Milky Way. We can see it with our naked eye. He took more pictures of us. After we were all satisfied he dropped us back at our original location. We would definitely use his services again. Job well done!

Gour guides were very accommodating, experienced, up-beat & courteous. Time was well managed for excursion. Best of all, we felt safe not having to use our own rental vehicle risking getting stuck up or down the mountain. The green tea and sandwiches were just the right touch.
