1
The Chicago Theatre
We start our tour under the dazzling marquee of the Chicago Theater (where you might recognize the neon sign from the movie musical Chicago) before heading off into the bustling city. Duration: 5-10min
2
Chicago Pedway
We’ll then head towards the Chicago Pedway. This unique feature of Chicago is used by locals and commuters daily to move about the city in a network of underground tunnels — especially necessary during the Midwest winters. We’ll head back above-ground near City Hall, and on most weekdays, be able to head inside to see the classic interior design and architecture.
3
Chicago Riverwalk
Weather permitting, we’ll take a stroll along the Chicago Riverwalk while taking in views of several soaring buildings, including Marina Towers, the Britannica Building, and the Sears Tower (now known as the Willis Tower).
4
Chicago River
From there, we’ll either hop on the ‘L’ train or a water taxi on the Chicago River (depending on the weather and time of year). Either option offers a uniquely local Chicago experience! The ‘L’ train is recognized as a Chicago landmark having been featured in movies and TV shows for decades. You’ll enjoy feeling like a local as you zip past buildings and catch even more awesome views. If your guide takes you on a water taxi, you’ll be seeing the Chicago skyline from a totally different perspective, as well as sharing in the daily commute of local Chicagoans late for work.
5
The Magnificent Mile
Finally, we’ll take a stroll through the beautiful lakefront parks along Michigan Avenue.
6
Cloud Gate
We’ll end up in the picturesque Millennium Park, home to the iconic Bean sculpture. Here (or nearby), your guide will conclude your tour and point you in the right direction toward more amazing sights, great lunch spots, or a drink recommendation inside one of the most amazing spaces in the city.

61
Skydeck
400 N Michigan Ave.
63

Our tour was with David. He was a very nice guy and provided some good information about Chicago. My only beef is with Viator. They provided the wrong meet up address on the written tickets that we were sent - which took me and my wife more than a mile away from the actual meet up location. As a result, we were late, sweaty and started the tour pretty disappointed. David tried to hold up the tour so that we could make it in time and tried his best to make up for the gaffe but I have to say - we weren’t happy. Someone needs to be sure that the correct location is properly identified on the tickets at the time of purchase. David indicated that he has had this exact problem in the past and that he has reached out to Viator to get it fixed (obviously those efforts have not been successful). Not sure who is at fault nor do I care at this point. Also, the substance of the tour was nice but not awesome. My apologies to the other families who had to wait for us. I would have been really bothered being forced to wait if I were them. Oh well - can’t win them all.

Lora did a great job showing us the city center city of Chicago. We walked over three miles and covered so many different and interesting sites...the tour included a nice boat ride along the river and stops to taste great popcorn and chocolate. Lora was very engaging and knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun. The price of the walking tour was reasonable, the size of the tour was small...this was much better than the free walking tours that are usually much larger in size. She shared quite a few interesting tidbits and stories about the history of Chicago. This tour was a great way to see the highlights of Chicago in a relatively short amount of time. I highly recommend this tour!

David our tour guide made this tour amazing! I was hesitant to book a tour thinking it may be a little corny but I was so wrong. This tour was a highlight to our trip. We took this tour the day after we arrived and that made it so much better because we knew the city even more. We plan on taking tours with this company in other cities!
