Captain Rick was great!!! Weather was a bit drippy, which is not unusual in the summer in Alaska, but Rick made the best of it. We were hoping to go to St. Lazaria Island but the seas were not cooperating. But Rick took us to the salmon hatchery and we were fortunate to get to watch a Momma bear feeding her two very young cubs on the shore. The boat was extremely comfortable and enough room inside for the 5 guests. We also got to see a large channel marker covered in sea lions - a very large male and a bevy of females and babies. Disappointed in the weather but definitely not the excursion!

So happy we were able to meet Rick for an outstanding day on the water. He is a native of the area with tons of knowledge of the area. He was able to show us otter moms with babies, seals and of course humpback whales. If you’re in area skip the cruise offerings and book with Rick. You will be super happy you did!!! Kim & Bob
