A good way to see all the hot spots of LA and was happy to get a discounted ticket price online. We were disappointed with the wait times between switching lines (red to blue) and the last bus back for the day was very early. Which meant that you don’t really get enough time to get use of your ticket to get off and check out places. Though, the last bus of the day was behind due to traffic so the connecting bus waited around for passengers to get back to all stop locations which was nice.

Our experience with the Big Bus tour was less than stellar. We took advantage of the app, but our wait times were significant. We ended up walking to several of the attractions because we would have been waiting for most of the day. This is very disappointing when you are trying to see as much as you can in one day and we paid for the service. We had very poor interactions with one female bus driver. She spoke rudely when we asked a question about a stop. We ended up having to get off and take an uber back to our vehicle because she refused to communicate with us about stops/locations. This is very frustrating when we purposely parked by a stop, so that we could take full advantage of our paid ticket. In the end, we paid for the tour and then an uber because of the tour.

I bought the 2 day pass and had two very different experiences. Day 1 on the red Hollywood tour was great, busses ran close to time and the top deck had shade cover. Drivers were also careful to time the audio guide. Day 2 started ok with the Chinese Theatre tour but from getting in the blue tour to Santa Monica things rapidly deteriorated. Busses hopelessly late, drivers and pleasant and aggressive on the road.
