Terrible, they had like 2/3 buses running so you wasted time waiting or paid for an Uber so you could get places

DC is a beautiful city and very very busy on a weekend during the Cherry Blossom Festival. We made the unfortunate mistake of booking a Big Bus Tour during this time. The audio was entertaining, the bus ride was super slow and super crowded. Air conditioner inside bus was not on and live bus locator app stopped working. Very very disappointed in the tour overall. The bus driver said his manager would not let him go to a previously scheduled stop (which is the one we were getting off on to get back to the Metro). He said we had to get off bus at current stop and walk; not too far he said. When we got off the bus and google mapped how to get to Arlington Cemetery (across the bridge) it was a 2+ mile walk!!! Thankfully Metro is everywhere and even being a 50+ person (traveling with my elderly mother) with little directional skills, we were able to figure it out.

Our website advertises that our last bus to enter Arlington Cemetary is the 4:00pm from stop #1, this is because the gates are Arlington close at 5:00pm. When the gates are closed our buses cannot safely turn around. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. The narration that we were given about all of the buildings that we were passing And the places that we were Getting off the bus we're very very helpful. We were able to see a lot and the maps were also very helpful.
