Really enjoyed this trip with our guide Sierra. For a couple of beginners it was really fun, interesting, and challenging without being too overwhelming.

I'd totally recommend Lost Paddle Rafting! We are a family of 4 with an 11 and 13 year old who had never done rafting before! We booked last minute and they were great at replying to our emails when we asked what experience would work best for us - they recommend the bighorn half day. They were very responsive at answering questions for us! We arrived and the girls who were working were very welcoming and chatty! They were so helpful, helping us chose the correct life jackets and helmets. Make sure u go without time constraints. We were very relaxed and on the day the river was running slow so things took a bit longer than normal but we were grateful for the extra time. Between Rapids you get to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lots of birds and wildlife to look out for. Our guide was Ella who was WONDERFUL. she was a very experienced rafter and we felt very safe with her. We enjoyed our conversation with her. She was very patient with us - explaining the rowing. I'm not sure how many times she got us all rowing in unison 🙈 and on the more difficult rapids us adults took control and the kids just enjoyed the ride. I can't remember the name of the girl who did the driving to & from the rapids plus the photos but shout out to her too, she was lovely! It was about 80 degrees, breezy and the morning had been sunny. When we arrived the sun decided to hide behind the clouds which made the river a bit colder when u got wet. We all wore swimsuits with shorts and a long sleeve quick dry sun shirt. 3 of us were fine in that. The water was cold but no more than our hotel pool! You dry very fast with the breeze while floating down the river. Our daughter got the coldest and in the future if it isn't sunny, we would probably get her a wetsuit. I think if the sun had been out, she would have been OK. Overall a wonderful experience & we will definitely be back! So glad we chose Lost Paddle over the other rafting businesses. Having seen them on the river, I feel we got the best care & attention using this smaller company!

This trip was so much fun. Our guide Sierra was awesome and kept us safe and taught us a lot in the process. Everyone in our group enjoyed and walked away wanting to do it again with more higher tiered rapids!!!
