As we approach the towering bluffs of Ellison Bay Bluff Park, keep an eye out for Wisconsin’s largest private home along the bayside bluffs, and the County Park’s famous lookout!

As you continue north towards Door Bluff Headland Park and into Gills Rock, we’ll share captivating stories of Northern Door County’s rich commercial fishing heritage, tales of the Lake’s historical shipwrecks, and even the fascinating story of a historic Death’s Door battle.

Weather permitting, you’ll get you up close to Plum Island Lighthouse and maybe even catch a glimpse of the old Coast Guard station at Death's Door!

Sitting on the top you could hear the gentleman who gave the information very well. However, when you went below to the covered area, you could not hear him very well or understand some of the things he was talking about. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and a little rainy, so sitting below was pretty much the only option. Length of tour was very good, and the beautiful fall weather made for nice scenery.

I am glad that you had an enjoyable cruise with us. I am sorry you were not able to hear some of the things the narrator said. The P.A. system usually works very well. If it happens again, just let us know and we can turn it up.

Boat tour was very beautiful. Personnel on board were very helpful, friendly, and informative. A very good way to see a lot more of door county.

I highly recommend this trip if you're interested in local history. Connie was very entertaining and kept us interested the entire trip with her stories about the county. The views are outstanding and the staff very friendly
