Be aware stops are not marked. This is a rule from the city but the company but unclear on website that stops are not marked. Spent time searching for the first stop. Called office to confirm we were at the correct stop and was tolled trollies were running every 10 minutes- waited 30 minutes before one arrived. Tour itself is nicely done but short. Driver was knowledgeable and professional. Takes about 1 hour to ride through. Satisfied with the price I paid for the Groupon but would not pay full price. Would recommend a freedom trail walking tour instead or get off at every stop because you don't see many of the sites from the bus because it can't fit.

Yesterday we took a City View trolley tour in Boston with a guy that claimed he’s been voted best tour guide. I could not wait to get off his bus just to escape his highly offensive jokes about: Italians, Asians, Transgender people, women (multiple times), Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons. An Asian family stepped on the trolley and he said “Let me guess, crazy rich Asians, right?!” He shared his political views, was rude to an Asian man deciding to get off or not by saying “so no one is getting off here?” over the mic. Yet he told other people to “take their time.” He had a string of jokes that he sounds like he tells all the time. One was about the extra seat on the bus near the driver’s seat. He told a joke that only men and children could sit there. He said women were not allowed to sit there and the punch line was that the reason why didn’t matter. He insulted someone that didn’t tip him. He talked about his Christian religion and his being a Knights of Columbus Grand Master. He promoted Shriners and Masons. He didn’t give too much historical information, but did encourage people to visit the kids at the children’s hospital. He also informed us a woman had been killed while riding a scooter because she was hit by a Duck-boat previously and presented it in a way to get a laugh. I think Boston would be a wonderful city to tour and learn some deeper history. Perhaps I’ll get to visit again and do that. However, I will choose a different company because you can’t really see much of the sites they’re supposed to be telling you about from the trolley anyway.

Dear Customer, My sincere apologies, I am truly appalled to hear of this coming from one of our driver/guides, this is the 1st of any such complaint in the history of my time with trolley tours. I would like to know more and ask that you email me directly to help us identify this driver/guide, my direct email is [email protected]. I assure you this incident will never be repeated within our company, as it will be dealt with accordingly.
