We purchased a Go Boston pass that included a 2 day trolly pass. With rain in the forecast we decided that would be our best option for the day. We quickly got on the trolley and were taken to the first stop. We were only given a very poorly labeled map to follow to get back to the trolley. The map is not clearly marked as to where the trolley picks up at. We ended up asking 3 different people before we found some police officers who helped. When we got on the second trolley we were taken past 2 of the stops without stopping. At the third stop area another passenger asked if this was the stop. The driver became very rude because the man interrupted the story he was telling. While people were getting off the driver continued to be very disrespectful to the man and his family. No one blamed the man for asking if it was the stop considering he drove past 2 of the stops without stopping. We wanted to get off at stop 7 but our driver did not make it clear as to when we were at the stop. We were afraid to ask due to his response to the previous rider. We ended up just walking to our locations after the awful ride. I would not recommend this to anyone.

EJ was our first tour director and he was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Boston and colonial history. He is also hilarious, you will love his tours. This was the perfect way to get an overview of the city and some great tourist sites. We drove the whole tour and then picked spots we wanted to go back to. We got back on and stopped at the spots we wanted to see. It made getting to lunch and across downtown so easy and entertaining. We were given so many tips and advice for food/drinks. This made us feel like we really knew Boston, or enough to appreciate it better. We got our tickets on Groupon.

I bought 4 tickets for this cityView Trolley Tours from Groupon so they were a great deal. I was a little worried because our trip to Boston was during school vacation in February and I thought it would be too cold to ride on a trolly meant to run in the summer. It turned out to be a very nice day but even if it had been cold the trolly would have been nice and warm. The plastic windows keep the warmth in and really do not inhibit the view much at all. The trolley is narrated by the driver (ours was very knowledgeable and funny). It goes by all the main historical sites in Boston and allows you to hop off and see the sites and jump on the next Trolly if you would like. I would highly recommend this activity to see the site of Boston and I have used them to see other large cities as well, I am a big fan. I am sure I will do this again on my next trip. Enjoy!!
