I want to start with the actors involved. They did an excellent job, I cannot take away from their effort and performance. That said, I feel like I should have been more wary when I saw it was only an hour. For me it was definitely not worth the price of admission. Or really, even my time. The tour started with a town meeting where our host makes every effort to get us into the mind frame of the local townspeople. Each of us was handed a character card as we entered, and a couple of people had speaking parts which was fun. it was fun to shout hazzah or fie and stomp our feet and pound on the benches. The kiddos like that. Next we moved on shipboard. There were some crates of tea for the kiddos to throw overboard. Below deck, there was another docent who began her speech before all of us were below board. Could not hear a single word she said. We were also crowded in there like sardines. Access and egress very crowded. Not really protocol friendly. From there we moved to a standing theater room using holograms to discuss the events. One set of holograms was a discussion between King George and John Adams. Clever. And, there was a chest that may have washed up on shore after the tea party which had been passed down through generations. There were numerous other displays in the room but not time to see because we were hurried off. Of course the tour ends in the restaurant and gift shop. And you cannot get out of there without walking through both.

My friends and I really enjoyed this whole visit. The actors were on Point with their speeches and very into their characters. From the first visit in the court room, the ship and backbinside everything was really informative and well put together 👏. Afterwards the visit to the Abigail tearoomreally made my wife and our female friends day, they were ecstatic and overjoyed to try the five teas. The gift room was very nice also with plentyvto choose from.

A fun 1st stop on our Boston trip, highly recommend starting here as this is where ‘history’ begins…Our ‘Abigail’, cute bubbly redhead in character, made it simply delightful. It’s very interactive, fun for all ages. Definitely stop into the Tea Room at the end, the scones are simply delicious, and the tea as well. Pair this 1st step in history, with a short stroll over 1 block, for the BEST 1st bite at James Hook &Co the BEST lobster rolls in all of Boston. No kidding.
