This is a walking tour of historic downtown Breckenridge, making outdoor stops at many locations, telling stories of our dark past. We will start at the south end of town and make approximately 7 stops on the way, finishing at the north end of town at the old Brown Hotel. We use ghost/spirit hunting equipment in our search for the energy that remains. Please dress warmly for this outdoor tour.

Gail Westwood came dressed impeccably in a hauntingly beautiful Victorian outfit, and led us on an amazing tour of authentic old haunts. She truly knows Breckenridge from first hand experience as well as long relationships with many of the original families and current residents. She is lived and respected by the locals and gives the best tour, whether for ghosts it for history. This is well with your time and money. Just wear good shoes because she really gives you your money's worth.

Went to break for my birthday in December 2013. It was a great trip but the most fun I had was on a walking tour! The tour guide taught us all about miners, ladies of the night, bourbon, and the town :) def recommend!

We had a great time on our ghost tour during our trip to Breckenridge, it was so informative from both a ghostly and historic point of view. We started at the Dredge Restaurant and our guide Gail (who dressed up in costume) told us stories of how Breckenridge was a gold mining town while we had a cocktail and appetizer. We then walked over to Cabin Coffee and had treats by the fire while we heard more ghost stories. We then walked inside three other establishments with more stories. Gail gave us dowsing rods and EMFs to use while we were on the tour which were so much fun. My rod wouldn't stop spinning! We also bought Gail’s book called “Haunted Breckenridge”, it is such an addictive read I could not put it down. The tour is called “Taste of Ghostly Breckenridge” and I highly recommend it!
