My 11 year old son, 8 year daughter, and I went on the Browns Canyon Intermediate white water rafting. I'm not going to lie. I was super nervous about the kids going. They were pumped and, of course, fearless but I was concerned, you know, about drowning. My concerns were unfounded. Our guide, Randy, kept us incredibly safe the entire trip. What I should have been more concerned about was my level of fitness. One day later and I am feeling a little soreness. (Lol) my daughter sat in the middle of the middle of the boat, securely between my son and another older boy. Then my son sat directly in front of me. Randy, while keeping us going on the raft, educated us about the area. We all had the best time!
Random I wish I had known: We got lunch when we arrived. My advice would be to eat well. You will burn it off. Bring water with you on the boat. Bring dry clothes with you to change after the trip. If you wear glasses, bring something to hold your glasses around your neck. They have lockers to hold your stuff while you're gone. You may want to pack a snack to eat as soon as you get back.

Thanks for the review! We are so glad you found your trip to be safe and fun, and that you had such a great experience with Randy. And thanks for the informative tips for others- yes, have a good lunch, bring water and take precautions with prescription eyewear! Hope to see you and your family again.
