We visited in early August and booked the combination aerial course and zipline package. It didn't take long to get the hang of clipping in and out of the safety lines on the aerial course thanks to our excellent guides Preston and Brandon. They helped us feel safe and comfortable so we could concentrate on having fun! The course has multiple trails with various difficulty levels, so there was something for everyone. The kids (13 and 11) absolutely loved it, and quickly progressed to the more advanced courses. After the aerial course, we went into Salida for a delicious lunch at Amicas Pizza, then returned for the zipline tour. After a training session where Preston and Brandon taught us how to steer and brake on the zipline, we were ready fly over the canyon! Once again, the safety equipment and especially our guides' encouragement gave us the confidence to take the leap, They were also very knowledgeable about the beautiful canyon and the geology of Colorado, and helped us appreciate the amazing views from the ziplines even more! They did a fabulous job! It was over too soon, and we can't wait to go back again!

There are two parts to this review. First, my 12 and 10 year olds and I had an amazing time doing the aerial course! Everything from booking to check in to the safety and other instructions and suiting up was well-organized, well-explained, quick and easy. Preston helped us with all that and then was an amazing guide. My 10 year old was doing pretty well, but then got spooked by one obstacle, and I was on another course and could only yell encouragement, which didn't work. Preston came to the rescue by clipping in himself, climbing up there, talking my son through it and then doing it with him. He helped my son like this another couple times. And he also helped my 53 year old self who got stuck on one obstacle and was getting tired. He climbed up fast, gave me the little pull I needed and that was that. The course is really a number of courses, from easy to really hard, and everyone will be able to find the right one for their ability and comfort level. The courses are also in a beautiful spot that really adds to the experience. The second part of my review is about how the Captain went above and beyond the already great customer service provided. As an East Coaster who doesn't usually do this kind of thing, I thought I was all slick by putting my cash, credit card, license and phone in a zippered pocket. But when I took my phone out my drivers license fell out and I didn't realize it until after we left. I thought I left it in the van, but the Captain checked and it wasn't there. I thought for sure it was lost and I'd have to drive home cause TSA wouldn't let me on the plane home without a license. I was planning to go back there and look for it (extreme longshot), but that would have disrupted my family's vacation, since we already had other plans in this area. But lo and behold, I got a call before I headed down there from Monty, who put his people "on a mission" to scour the course, which has a dirt and sand ground surface, so my license was surely buried somewhere and invisible. But somehow they found it, saving my vacation, after giving my kids and I a great time. Finally, in driving around the area, we saw a couple similar courses, but they weren't really similar. They were way, way smaller, not in a beautiful spot but instead right off the highway, and it was clear we went with the best. Thanks Captain Zipline!!

Tony and Haley were our awesome guides for the Zipline course. They were diligent about safety and just as committed to making sure we all had a blast! Great afternoon, crazy fun, beautiful scenery...all in all just a great experience! We will come back and do the aerial / ropes course!
