Family with a young child, a tween, and a teen, all enjoyed the tour. I was worried that the kids would lose attention because we were in a shuttle and not walking or on the carriage tour, but I shouldn’t have worried. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. We got to see so much! We drove through College of Charleston, Rainbow Row, Citadel and so much more. We stopped at the City Market and was able to get off to do shopping, then waited at a stop (about 15-20 minutes) for the tour bus to come back through. And considering the heat, I was definitely glad we went with the tour bus option!

Our trip guide Alan was very informative. Only reason not giving 5 stars is our bus’s AC was not working properly, we were like cooking in an oven. Not sure if it was because we were in the back of the bus or the fact bus completely full but we were so hot that we contemplated jumping off half way, but in the end all went well. Yes I would do it again.

Great customer service and a wealth of knowledge in the tour. First we missed our scheduled tour due to weather, the tour operator gladly rescheduled our tour which was great. We arrived at the Visitor Center and it was easy to find pick up location. Benji was our tour guide and he took us all around Charleston and we learned and really enjoyed our tour. Heads up you can get off at the end of the tour at the Market Place which we did and shopped a little and then walked down the street to have some oysters. All in all great value for the money. We typically use Red Bus to tour a new city, but air conditioned tour bus is great in July in Charleston.
