This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim!

Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages.

From the moment we arrived at SUP we were greeted and felt welcomed! As first timers we were not sure if we would even be able to paddle board. With the help from our awesome guide Big Jon and his sidekick Doug we had a blast. We all managed to be able to stand up at one point or another and even got to see some sharks! It was a great experience for me to take my two children on. Thank you all for the memories!

My husband and I tried paddleboarding for the very first time in Charleston. I was nervous, but J.D. gave a good lesson before we started. It was easier to get up than I thought it would be. J.D. was very knowledgeable about the area and entertained us with stories and facts while we paddled down the river. About halfway through, we stopped and had our waters that J.D. carried for us. We had a ton of dolphin sightings, and they came up really close to us. So neat! Excellent tour even for newbies.
