Being out on Lake Michigan and seeing the skyline and enjoying the fireworks was all amazing! Food was buffet-style (not great for just coming out of Covid restrictions) but was kept hot and was super tasty.
Service was slow - so the offer of unlimited refills is a bit of a misnomer. How can they refill if they only come around twice in 3 hours? Plus, when we were told our options for drinks, pink lemonade was listed. For 4 people, we got 3 pink lemonades and one of us opted for the Sparkling Watermelon Lemondade that was listed as $5 on the menu. It took us 2 times snagging our server en-route somewhere else before that drink was delivered ("sorry, we only have 1 bartender right now" was the excuse provided). That drink finally arrived about an hour into the actual cruise.
When our bill came, we expected it to be $5. However, the pink lemonades (non-alcoholic) were each $3.50. And they were extremely watered-down. Even if we had seen our waitstaff more frequently, none of us actually wanted a refill of the 'sugary' water that was being passed off as lemonade.
Would have been a 5 star review at half the price.
