Host/narrator was excellent. A Chicago native she clearly knew her subject. She provided a great deal of information but also broke up the flow with a few quizzes and interaction with the guests. Tour included travel to the spot where the Chicago River splits, then out to the lake and inside the harbor so you see some of downtown and some of the lakefront. Seating inside and out so weather accommodating. The location can be tricky to find along the riverwalk because there are so many boats docked there, so check online for a description and clear address before you set off. Riverwalk area is busy and safe, even for evenings.

We had a wonderful cruise on Mercury. It was a Lake Michigan/Chicago River Cruise. The tour guide was excellent and was easy to listen to. He had a great personality and described all the buildings in detail. The cruise had drinks and snacks which were moderately priced. Also the cruise was reasonably priced. We went with our entire family and everyone loved it. We were very fortunate that the weather was perfect for cruising around 75 degrees and sunny. The location of the cruise line is excellent on the Riverwalk at Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive. We highly recommend Mercury Cruises.
