Beth was our tour guide and led us thru the past and present life of Cincinati (with visual aids) via the Cincinati connector and walking. We visited some really great restaurants like Bru for an incredible "snack" burger (not a slider this was a burger, pickles, tomato jam etc,), Nicholsons a Scottish pub for bangers and mash. The banger is a sausage specially made fora Nicholsons. It is also a place where you get to walk on Scottish soil (need to ask for the story). It has an incredible selection of Scottish Whiskey (you pay extra for that during the tour or go back later). A quirky Mexican restaurant for served us a shredded chicken taco street food style with some incredible guacamole. I'm doing it a disservice by not remembering the name. At Findley market we sampled some amaretto fudge and cheese at Gibbs. I am not a fan of fudge but if Gibbs was nearer to home, I would be a convert! Chocolate at Mavericks and a Banana Pudding from Makers where both counter people gave us a thorough talk about their Chocolate product and the bakery business and goods. Like the fudge, I not a fan of pudding, but that banana pudding I would highly recommend one seeks out on a tour or when shopping at the Findley. All this was a short but incredible tour of the vibrancy of the Queen City its history, how to get around, and a small sample of its awesome food scene that I didn't expect it was a tour well worth taking and I highly recommend it and while I am sure you can't go wrong with any of the guides they provide try asking for Beth to guide you through this great river city!

Wow. Thank you, Lisa, for the wonderful in-depth review! We appreciate your time in sharing all the details. The Mexican restaurant is called Mazunte Centro. We do have an awesome food scene and I'm happy that you got to experience it with Beth!
